Architecture Schools

Architecture schools offer programs for those who see the potential in the design and visual aspects of the environment. They offer degrees at all levels of study, both undergraduate and graduate. Many of these schools even offer professional practice programs that allow the students to work in the "real world" by alternating semesters of classroom study and work. These co-op programs not only help students to see how their studies are applied in the architectural world, but they also help students to pay for their education.
Most architectural schools offer a five-year program that leads to a bachelor's degree. The work is intense but rewarding. If a co-op work program is involved it usually consists of three months of study, then three months of professional practice. This gives students a chance to put to practice what they learn in the classroom while they learn to work as a team and develop interpersonal skills. It enables students to be able to evaluate their goals once they are finished with school and ready for a career in architecture.
Architecture schools also offer degrees in interior design, fashion design, graphic design, urban planning and more. They also offer advanced degrees such as the Master of Architecture and advanced degrees in fine arts, community planning, etc. as well as doctorate degrees. There is no limit to what one can accomplish with a degree from one of the many architectural schools.
